WHO AM I
Hello, my name is David Casaru, and I am intrigued by Leadership and Management and all the various elements associated with it. My own experience in Leadership and Management has come from being a Leader and Manager in the Royal Air Force (RAF) Regiment, as a Rock-climbing instructor and Mountain Leader, as a Party Leader in the RAF Mountain Rescue Service and as a Manager in the oil and gas sector. I have the pleasure of working in Leadership and Management Development in the RAF and within the private sector. I am currently the People Development Manager for a global company.
WHY I WANT TO TALK ABOUT LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT
My desire to write has been with me for a very long time, but I have never pursued it. I have always had something else to do, waisted time watching TV or aimlessly flicking through social media.
This year I was determined to start and decided to begin by writing a blog about something that interests me. I settled on Leadership and Management Development to kick things off. I eventually want to write a book, but I will start by building my writing experience using this blog.
I have no experience of writing for public consumption, and this is my first foray into the world of general writing. I will also produce content that people will disagree with, but if it stimulates conversation and healthy debate, please bring it on.
THE GOAL OF MY SITE
This blog aims to share my thoughts about Leadership and Management and everything related to it (lots of scope for divergence). Let’s see where we end up. There is no chosen destination, and I have no idea where I am going or what I am going to do, but that is the exciting part of this journey. I hope to write as often as I can and see what comes of it.
So please feel free to follow me and engage in conversation as long as it is courteous and well-mannered, I will reply in the same manner.
If you ever have any questions, feel free to leave them below, and I will be more than happy to help you out.
All the best,
